Michael Mair, the visionary behind Martial Fusion, began his journey in martial arts at the age of 14 in April 1996. Earning his Taekwondo black belt by March 2000, he quickly moved into full-time coaching and competing by October that same year. Between 2001 and 2003, Michael represented Scotland internationally, earning multiple honors, and later expanded into kickboxing, competing across England by 2007. Upon returning to Scotland, he opened his first academy and competed nationally and internationally with top squads, representing England and Great Britain from 2007 to 2013. During this time, he also led Team Scotland to success, coaching his first World Champion and guiding fighters to silver and bronze medals at the World Championships in 2014.

In 2015, Michael relocated to Cyprus with a vision to create a premier martial arts academy. By January 2016, he established the first Martial Fusion location in Paphos. Martial Fusion has since expanded to three locations across Cyprus, covering all age groups and becoming a market leader in the country. Today, Martial Fusion upholds high standards of tuition, safeguarding, and a strong community spirit, while also supporting businesses through MF Solutions.
